Morocco is situated in the northwestern of Africa.

Morocco enjoys the beautiful and brave Atlantic Ocean to the west and the charming Mediterranean Ocean to the north which also makes a border of water from Spain and Gibraltar, only an hour away by ferry.

There are two mountain ranges: The famous Atlas Mountains and the beautiful Rif Mountains. The Atlas Mountains actually cross Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. In Morocco this range is divided in three different parts: Middle Atlas, High Atlas and Anti-Atlas. The Rif Mountains is situated in the north of Morocco, running along  a part of the Mediterranean coast.

The Sahara desert, in the south  is the largest hot desert in the world, covering Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Sudan and Tunisia.
